Naked Cougars

Months of ever-so-secret activity behind closed doors at Carlisle rugby club has been revealed.

The Cougars – the club’s ladies team – have brought out a Naked Calendar in time for Christmas.

Hannah Farrell, the Ladies vice-captain, says: “For months now we have been shooting, organising and printing our very own naked calendar!

“This is something we’ve wanted to do for a long time; to showcase the wonderful sport of rugby while celebrating our strong and beautiful bodies.

“Raising the profile of women‘s sport is a passion of ours, especially for rugby. We are so proud of the calendar and hope it also encourages other women to give rugby try and most importantly, love their bodies inside and out.

“While the photoshoot was nerve wracking at first, it was such a laugh and truly empowering for us.

“A huge thank you to all of our sponsors as we can’t thank them enough for helping make one of our visions come to life. Special thanks go to main sponsors Allan Lettings and PK Engineering.

“Thank you to Naomi House Photography who shot the amazing photos, giggled along with us and supported our crazy vision.”

The calendars are A3 and £14.99 each.

All proceeds will go to support Carlisle Ladies Rugby Team and Carlisle Rugby Club.
