A midwife at Carlisle’s Cumberland Infirmary has been recognised for her impact on digital leadership and transformation in the North West region.
Julie Haigh, digital midwife, has been selected as one of nine people in the Digital Leader 100 Awards.
This award is for an individual whose actions in the past year have made them stand out as a Digital Leader in the transformation of their area.
Julie said “To be selected by your peers as a regional champion is such an honour.
“It makes me more determined to continue with my own digital journey whilst waving the flag for North Cumbria.
“As a midwife working with so many other disciplines across the NHS gives me the opportunity to learn from others whilst continually striving to improve digital clinical leadership and knowledge sharing opportunities.
An overall winner of the Digital Leader Local Champion category will be chosen from the nine finalists and announced at the Digital Leaders 100 Awards ceremony in London’s iconic Shard on November 11.
