An event is to be held in Kendal to give people the chance to remember lost loved ones.
Light up a Life is a Christmas remembrance service, hosted by St John’s Hospice.
Everyone is welcome to join in, whether or not they have a connection to St John’s Hospice. There will be a mix of music, reflection, readings and lights lit in memory of loved ones. Light up a Life is free to attend and suitable for the whole family.
You can also choose to dedicate a light on the hospice Christmas tree in memory of a loved one by making a donation to St John’s. Visit www.sjhospice.org.uk/lightupalife to make your dedication.
St John’s Hospice encourages people attending to use sanitiser, wear a mask where possible as it is an indoor event and to sing at their own discretion.
Doors open 5.30pm, service starts at 6.30pm.
