Talented young forward Connor Terrill has re-signed for Barrow ahead of the 2022 Betfred Championship season.
The 20-year-old originally joined the club ahead of the truncated 2020 League 1 competition, signing from Millom after previously playing for Barrow’s academy side, the Furness Raiders.
He had been named Scotland’s Under-19s Player of the Year for 2019, and was called up to their extended train-on squad in 2021.
Terrill said: “I’m really happy to have signed a new deal with the club. I feel like I picked up some good form at the back end of the year and will be looking to carry that into the 2022 season.
“I can’t wait to get stuck into pre-season and challenge myself in the Championship next year.
“My goal for 2022 is to play as much as possible and just keep improving my game with the help of the experienced players around me.”
Head coach Paul Crarey acknowledged Terrill’s early career in the game when he said: “Connor is yet another member of the brilliant Millom production line.
“He also came through our academy and it’s very pleasing to see us producing our own through our structures.
“Connor is a player who wants to keep improving and it’s great that he feels the best place to do so is in our group. He has a big future ahead and will play his part this coming season.”
