The A591 has been closed by police after a crash.
Police are currently dealing with a collision on the A591 at Burneside.
The road is currently closed in both directions between Plumgarths Roundabout (Kendal) and Plantation Bridge (Bowston) and drivers are asked to use alternative routes.
Recovery is in progress.
