Police are investigating six incidents of burglary in Ulverston and Grange refuse centres.
The items taken during the spree – which happened between October 11 and November 11 – were car batteries.
Anyone with any information or who witnessed suspicious activity around these sites in the evenings between the above dates is asked to contact police.

The reference number to include with any report is log 65 of October 10.
