More than 650 runners took part in Britain’s oldest 10-mile road race.
After a gap of two years due to the pandemic, today saw the return of the Brampton to Carlisle 10 mile road race.
It was its 69th event, making it officially the oldest 10-mile road race in Britain.
The race started from William Howard school on Longtown Road in Brampton and finished on Eden Bridges near the Sands Centre in Carlisle with over 650 competitors taking part.
