Police are searching for occupants of a car who fled after they were involved in a collision with a tractor.
Officers were called at around 12.35pm to the A595 at the junction of Thursby to Sandwath on the Roman Road.
The occupants of the car involved, a Black Golf, abandoned the vehicle and left the scene.
The tractor driver, a local man in his 50s, was uninjured.
The road was closed while investigations were carried out and has since reopened.
Police warned that congestion may still be an issue and drivers are asked to plan their journey accordingly.
