Workington Victoria FC will be staging a show race in the town’s Union Jack Club tonight.
Open to West Cumbria Amalgamation members, the race will be next year from Marlborough or its equivalent.
As for the show (judging at 7.30pm), race entries need not be shown but all ring numbers of birds competing in the 2022 race must be handed in tonight.
There is a six bird limit and competitors must enter the same number in the show as they will enter in the race.
Entries will cost £3 – £2.50p for the race and 50p for the show and there will be a single bird race nomination of £2.
The Victoria club completed a successful winter show series before Christmas and are looking forward to a good response for the show race.
