Work to resurface a section of the M6 in South Cumbria is set to start next month.
Overnight crews will work on the M6 southbound at Junction 36 (Crooklands/Kirkby Lonsdale) for about five weeks.
The work is scheduled to take place between 8pm and 6am.
From January 10 to February 7, the entry southbound slip road at Junction 36 will be closed and some lanes on the M6 will be closed, with a 50mph restriction in operation.
From February 8 to February 13, the closure of the M6 between Junction 36 exit slip road and entry slip road will be in place, with lane closures on the M6 and a 50mph restriction in operation.
Diversions will be in place.
National Highways said it aimed to have the work completed on time, but unforeseen circumstances and bad weather may mean slight changes to the plans.
