Police have issued an update after a seven-vehicle crash on the A595 at Moota.
Cumbria Constabulary was called at around 12.20pm on Friday, January 7, by the North West Ambulance Service to the crash.
The initial crash involved a Mitsubishi Mirage, Volkswagen Golf and a recovery truck. A further four vehicles were also involved in a subsequent collison.
The occupants of the Mitsubishi were taken to Cumberland Infirmary in Carlisle with minor injuries.
The road is still partially blocked but traffic is coping well.
