A fire involving 10,000 tonnes of rubbish was tackled by firefighters in Barrow.
Shortly after 10.30pm last night two fire engines attended a commercial building fire at Bouthwood Road.
The fire involved about 10,000 tonnes of refuse.
Crews remained at the scene for about three hours as they worked to bring it under control.
