
People of any or no faith are being invited to join together in a series of events.
The World Interfaith Harmony Week (WIHW) was unanimously adopted by the UN United Nations in 2010 with the aim of uniting all people of faith under the umbrella of peace and harmony.
To celebrate this year’s WIHW, South Lakeland Equality and Diversity Partnership (SLEDP) will hold a series of events led by a 92-year-old retired Roman Catholic priest in South Lakeland between 2.30pm and 3.30pm on February 2.
People are also invited to take part in their own practice at 7am and 7pm for half an hour daily from February 1 to February 7, which could include singing, meditation or reading.

- 2.30pm – 2.50pm Silent Meditation or Prayer
- 2.50pm – 3.10pm Study Session
