An Eden wedding planner has been shortlisted for a national award.
Weddings by Annabel in Penrith – which also looks after venues – has been named as a finalist in the Guides for Brides Customer Service Awards.
Guides for Brides’ annual awards reward businesses that deliver exceptional service and achieve outstanding customer satisfaction within the wedding industry.
Guides for Brides is an online resource for couples planning their big day.
Annabel Candler, the founder of Weddings by Annabel, said: “After a testing couples of years where I became more of a wedding coach and counsellor than a planner, this is a wonderful achievement even if I don’t get further.
“My business is growing and developing into something I am truly proud of.
“The nasty COVID era helped me delve down the venue management path and now I have three glorious places to look after in Cumbria.
“My private clients are more like friends and I have taken on help for 2022. Exciting times ahead!”

Industry experts will compare Annabel with other suppliers before finalists are announced at an event on March 9.
Weddings by Annabel was created in November 2010 and has helped over 100 couples.
