A man in his 30s has been arrested after an incident that sparked an armed response in West Cumbria.
Officers attended Mountain View in Harrington this morning following a report of threatening behaviour by a man inside an address.
Police attended at around 10.30am, including armed officers as a precaution, and a man in his 30s was arrested on suspicion of offences including malicious communications and stalking.
The situation has now been resolved safely and without risk to the public. Officers would like to thank everyone for their patience, particularly those living nearby.
