Man ‘followed primary school pupil’ in Egremont

Police are investigating after reports that a man followed a schoolboy in Egremont.

The youngster, of primary school age, was walking along Wordsworth Close when a man had passed him at around 8.20am.

The boy turned around and the man had changed direction and spoke to him.

The boy run away and the man had followed for a short period of time.

The boy was not harmed during the incident, but officers are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.

The man is described as in this late 20s early 30s, around 5ft 9in, of a medium build and was wearing black Nike trainers with white marks on, black tracksuit trousers, a long quilted black Parka-style coat with light brown fur hood, a black and white snood with a skull on and a rucksack.
