Cumbria’s Premier Wedding Show is coming to Carlisle on February 20 and is giving one lucky couple the chance to win a £20,000 to spend on their special day.
Taking place at Carlisle’s Racehorse, the Premier Wedding Show is the brainchild of two local business woman, Carol Waggot of Carol’s Bridal Boutique and Carol Milnes of CA events, who promise a day full of venders showing everything from cake tasting, floristry and décor, to wedding jewellery.
Over 40 wedding specialists will be attending the event, which will include catwalk shows, expert advice, and wedding inspiration.
Engaged couples will also be offered free prosecco and nibbles as they browse.
The two Carols said: “Having had over 250 postponed weddings and events last year alone and speaking to clients first hand they know how valuable it is to speak face to face with trusted suppliers for reassurance and guidance on their big day.
“Combined we have over 30-plus years in the wedding and event industry with a drive and passion to raise the profile of the great wedding business’s we have here in this beautiful county and wish to make ‘Cumbria’ the ultimate wedding destination for any bridal party.
“It will showcase over 100 wedding gowns, in addition to a £20,000 Wedding Giveaway prize, which includes the wedding ceremony, three-course meal, wine and evening food for up to 50 guests donated by Skitby, wedding dress and bridesmaid by Carol’s Bridal Boutique, grooms’ outfit by Goodfellows Menswear, wedding ring voucher by Jopsons Jewellers, car by Cumbria Classic Wedding Cars and many more.”
The event, hosted by David McNeill, managing director of StagedRight, is being held at the popular Carlisle Racecourse on Sunday February 20.
