Outrageous flytippers have dumped a mattress at the top of Hartside.
The mattress was found next to the A686.
Police have launched an investigation and yesterday, an Eden Council community warden and a PCSO met to discuss what could be done to find the “selfish individual’ wo had used an area of outstanding natural beauty as a dumping ground.
