The One Show is to host its Comic Relief Red Nose and Spoon Race in the Lake District.

The hit-BBC One show has partnered with Comic Relief on its four-day challenge from Elterwater to Buttermere.

The One Show favourites, Owain Wyn Evans and Angellica Bell, will battle to balance Red Noses on spoons as they take on the race.

The first team that makes it to the finish line with their Red Nose on a spoon wins. The teams will need to stop their noses from dropping to avoid time penalties and the winners will be crowned live on The One Show at the end of the week.

Owain, representing the blue team, and Angellica, representing the yellow team, will be joined by two representatives on each team from causes supported by Comic Relief.

You can follow the challenge every weekday night at 7pm from February 25, with the winning team crowned on March 11.

We've joined forces with @comicrelief and #RedNoseDay to bring you the epic #RedNoseAndSpoonRace 2022!

Two new teams lead by @angellicabell and @OwainWynEvans will battle it out over four days, as they take on the ultimate race across the Lake District.????????#TheOneShow pic.twitter.com/H58c1KJqrF
