Man arrested after Carlisle crash

Police are appealing for information after a man was arrested following a one-vehicle collision in Carlisle.

Police received a report of a collision at 1.42pm on March 6. The collision, involving a VW T-Roc, occurred on the junction of Brook Street and London Road.

A 28-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of driving whilst over the prescribed limit for alcohol and for taking a motor vehicle without the owner’s consent.

He was released under investigation.

There were no reported injuries as a result of the collision.

Police would like to hear from anyone who may have dashcam footage of the incident.
