The public has been told not to be alarmed by a large emergency services presence today at Devil’s Bridge, Kirkby Lonsdale.
Police, fire crews and mountain rescue teams are taking part in a training exercise between 9.30am and 11.30am.
Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service has said it is a planned event and part of their training for a range of scenarios.
