
Workington RNLI volunteers had a long trip to rescue a fishing vessel.
The volunteers were called by Belfast Coastguard at 1.35pm today, Saturday, March 19. to assist the vessel, which had broken down near the Isle of Man. Ramsay RNLI was also called out to assist.

The vessel, with one person on board, was towed by Workington’s relief all-weather lifeboat into Whitehaven and arrived at around 8.50pm.
