Three teens arrested after man suffers stab wounds in Kendal

Three teenagers have been arrested after a man in his 30s suffered stab wounds in a Kendal park.

Police are appealing for witnesses following reports of a serious assault in Fletcher Park on March 20 at around 6pm.

A man in his 30s from Kendal received stab wounds to his torso resulting in small lacerations.

Police have received reports that two or three men aged in their early 20s wearing dark clothing were seen leaving the area on foot towards Parkside Road. 

A 17-year-old man from Kendal was arrested on suspicion of inflicting grievous bodily harm without intent and possessing a knife in a public place.

An 18-year-old man from Kendal was arrested on suspicion of inflicting grievous bodily harm without intent, possessing a knife in a public place, possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of Class B and possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of Class A.

An 18-year-old man from Kendal was arrested on suspicion of inflicting grievous bodily harm without intent, possession of a controlled drug of Class B and possessing a knife in a public place.

All three have been released under investigation.

Officers are appealing for witnesses that may have information connected to this incident.
