A 17-year-old girl was accosted by an intoxicated man in his 60s while waiting for a bus in Whitehaven.
Police are investigating the incident, which took place on March 18 at around 3.40pm outside the Wilko store on Lowther Street.
The man repeatedly stroked the girl on the arm while asking her personal questions.
Officers said they were investigating the incident as an assault and were keen to speak to two members of the public who are believed to have helped the girl and are believed to have made comments relating to the identity of the man in question.
