A popular international market is set to return to Carlisle city centre this Easter.

More than 40 traders will be taking part bringing an array of global treats to the City Centre from unique arts and crafts, fine foods and delis to some amazing mouth-watering street foods.

Stalls will be open between:

Thursday April 14: 9am-6pm.

Friday April 15: 9am-6pm.

Saturday April 16: 9am-6pm.

Sunday April 17: 10am-5pm.

Bank Holiday Monday: 10am-5pm.

For food lovers, there will be a tempting selection of continental and international flavours to sample. On offer will be Greek gyros, Chinese, Crepes, exotic burgers and salt and pepper chicken to name but a few, and for those wanting to take the flavours of the world home with them there will be a great selection of fresh foods including olives, cheeses, salami and handmade breads and cakes baked fresh on site.

Also, browse some of the great craft stalls including handmade jewellery, Fairtrade wooden furniture and carvings, and Dutch Flowers on Tour selling a huge array of shrubs, bulbs, plants and trees with some great garden ornaments.

When you’re all shopped out you can relax and unwind in a continental street bar with continental beers and wine.

Organised by Market Place Europe, the award-winning International Market is supported by Carlisle City Council.
