Attempted robbery of nine-year-old in Carlisle

Three masked teenage boys attempted to rob a nine-year-old in Carlisle.

Police are appealing for information about the incident, which happened at the junction of Sewell Road and Ridley Road on Monday, April 18, at around 12.45pm.

The incident involved three youths believed to be aged around 15 years old. They attempted the robbery of a nine-year-old boy.

The victim was not injured and no property was taken.

The three male suspects have been wearing dark tracksuit style clothing and wore face coverings during the incident.

Police are keen to speak with anyone who may have witnessed the incident, have CCTV footage or information to identify the suspects.
