A Barrow taxi driver has been named the area’s favourite cabbie for going above and beyond.
Sue Bragg, of Susan Bragg Airport Taxis, was nominated by several of her customers for the Parliamentary Taxi and Private Hire Awards.
One of her customers said: “If Heineken made taxi drivers, they would be called Sue Bragg!”
She was presented with her award by Barrow and Furness MP Simon Fell.
He said: “I open up the nominations to local people every year for the Parliamentary taxi awards, and this year we received an overwhelming number of votes.
“After looking at the nominations, it was very clear that Sue would be the person I would be putting forward for the national award.“
