Three fire engines called to blaze on Pennington Drive in Carlisle

Three fire engines were called to tackle a blaze in Carlisle.

Crews were called shortly before 9am yesterday to Pennington Drive to a fire involving a ground floor living room.

Firefighters were at the scene for about three hours.

Police were also in attendance at the scene.

Cumbria Constabulary has been contacted for comment.
