Watching Carlisle United next season under the Paul Simpson renaissance is going to cost the fans more.
United say they have reluctantly increased some season tickets prices and match prices, and restructured their concession prices.
In a message to existing season ticket holders chief executive Nigel Clibbens has outlined why United are having to raise prices.
He said: “There is no escaping the fact that costs of running the club, and costs of competing on the field, have increased.
“The club cannot absorb these and still provide the finances to progress. At the same time, undertaking the overhaul needed and supporting the manager needs to be done in a way that works for the club.
“After many years of price freezes, we need to face up to this and reluctantly increase some season tickets prices, our match prices, and restructure our concession prices.”
Current adults and senior season ticket holders can still renew them at the current season prices if they do it between April 30 and May 13.
The Super Early Buy and Early Buy prices, reflect a £2 per game increase in match day prices.
The matchday prices are rising by £2 to £24 (adult seating) and £21 (adult terracing), and seniors £21/£18.
The first 100 season ticket holders sold to new adults or seniors will be sold at the Super Early Buy rate, and after that all new season ticket holders will pay the early buy rate until June 17.
The club is again offering a direct debit option. The first payment will be taken on July 1 2022 and will be taken over a 10-month basis, ending April 1 2023.
