
A Barrow man in his 30s has been arrested following an assault in the town.
The incident happened on Crellin Street at around 6pm on Friday, April 29 and involved two men in their 30s.
One man was driving down the street and his car was reportedly hit by an item, so the car stopped. One man was then hit on the head causing cuts that needed medical attention.
A man has been arrested on suspicion of GBH assault and released under investigation.
Police are appealing for witnesses, people who were reported to have intervened during the incident and anyone in the area around that time and any cars that have dashcam footage.
