It’s been a brilliant season for Cleator Moor Celtic Under-16s.

They have just completed a treble by picking up the West Cumbria Youth League Cup after a 5-1 win over Maryport Athletic at Borough Park.

That trophy has been added to the Under-16s League Championship and to the County Under-16s crown.

They were too strong for a spirited Maryport Athletic challenge on the wide open spaces of Borough Park.

Ben McCarron, who has had an outstanding season led the way with a hat-trick for Celtic.

At the other end of the age scale, Celtic Veterans have also been in action recently with a 2-0 win over Thornhill.

They were helped on this occasion by an own goal while Gareth Evans was also on target for the hoops.
