Glen, the missing trail hound, has been found and is back home at Frizington safe and well.
Mary Pearson’s two-year-old dog, registered in the Border Association as Camelot, had gone missing from a trail on Wednesday night at Greenhead.
He had been missing before, but had usually turned up fairly soon, or had been located through his familiar howls.
But there was concern on this occasion when he had not been seen or heard and was missing overnight.
Mary said today: “He was found last night and is now back home. Thank you to Cumbria Crack in spreading the word.
“He’s fine. A lady called Janet found him at Tipalt Burn which isn’t too far from where he went missing.
“I’m so grateful that he’s been found and the amount of people from the Border Hound Trailing Association who helped look for him was brilliant too.”
