Carlisle MP John Stevenson has been re-elected to chair the All Party Parliamentary Group for Food and Drink.
The group serves to raise the profile of the food and drink industry, exploring and highlighting issues in Parliament, which effect it.
Mr Stevenson has chaired the group since 2010.
He said: “I am honoured to be able to continue my work as the chair of the All Party Parliamentary Group for Food and Drink. Carlisle hosts many key food and drink manufacturing businesses and many of my constituents are employed in the industry. I’m delighted to be able to carry on representing the sector in Parliament.”
