Man and woman killed in West Cumbrian crash named

A man and woman killed in a crash in West Cumbria on Sunday have been named.

Bethanie Clark, 31, of Lowca, and David Muir, 43, of Parton, died as a result of the collision on the A596 at Flimby.

The collision happened at 12.08am and involved a Nissan Qashqai. The pair were pedestrians.

A 30-year-old woman from West Cumbria was arrested on suspicion of two counts of causing death by dangerous driving. She was later bailed.
