Hat-trick of victories at Velo Club Cumbria for Allistair Moffat

Allistair Moffat collected another Velo Club Cumbria time trial win this week. Picture: Brian Payton.

Allistair Moffat completed a hat-trick of victories by winning the Keswick 25-mile time trial organised by Velo Club Cumbria.

Moffat set a time of 56 minutes and 12 seconds in difficult windy conditions and a downpour at an average speed of 26.69mph.

He was a minute and 29 seconds clear of Richard Shield in second place. Liam Martin was third in a time of 58:03 and fastest road bike rider was John Beck with a time of 1:03:28

VCC’s club time trials continue on Tuesday with a Keswick 10. Sign on is from 6pm at the car park at Beck Wythop.
