The all-Cumbria clash on Saturday, December 10 between Carlisle United and Barrow will have an earlier kick-off.
Following discussions, the Sky Bet League Two fixture has been moved to a 1pm kick-off.
Carlisle United, Barrow and Cumbria police were all involved in the talks when several factors were taken into account, including a potential clash with an England World Cup quarter-Final.
As a result, all parties agreed on the kick-off time being brought forward from the traditional 3pm.
