A woman was pulled from her mobility scooter when a pitbull-type dog attacked her dog in a Keswick park yesterday afternoon.
Police say the incident happened at around 3.30pm in the town’s Lower Fitz Park.
A police spokesman said: ”Sounds like the caller was pulled off her mobility scooter during the incident.”
The offending dog was described as a pit bull-type, black and grey. It was on a lead but with no owner when the attack occurred.
