Officials of the two West Cumbrian Federations will be keeping a close watch on the weather forecast for the weekend.
The Derwent Valley Federation are due to move on to Charnock Richard while the West Cumberland Federation plan to liberate from Garstang.
But early forecasts suggest heavy showers will be around on Saturday and Sunday, so officials will be watching developments closely as things can change pretty quickly.
The Derwent Valley Federation had been to Flookburgh twice and on Saturday raced from Garstang.
Returns have been mixed with some lofts doing well while others had a few empty perches on the day.
The West Cumberland Federation raced from Flookburgh on Saturday for the third time when entries were down across the organisation and, in fact, only David Harrison sent in the Egremont club.
There were cleans sweeps, too, as Billy Waddington and Phil Taylor annexed all six spots in Lowca while Billy Cottier and Barry Patrickson repeated the trick in Sandwith.
In Cleator Moor, Martin Mingins won with Raymond Reeves taking the next five tickets.
