Workington MP Mark Jenkinson will hitting the road this summer for his annual surgery tour.
From August 8, he will be at village halls and community centres to hear people’s issues and concerns.
Mr Jenkinson said: “When I was elected to represent you in 2019, I promised that I would be a voice for everyone in the Workington constituency.
“Speaking to my constituents face-to-face is one of the best ways to hear your thoughts on the issues that are important to you.
“I pride myself on being one of the most accessible and hands-on MPs, so there is no requirement to book an appointment.
“All people need to do is pop along to any of the locations and you will be able to speak with me and my team.
“I look forward to meeting with as many of you as possible over Parliament’s summer recess.”
Those who are unable to attend a surgery in their own community are welcome to attend any of the other locations, Mr Jenkinson added.
And constituents who can’t come to any of the surgeries but would still like to meet with Mr Jenkinson can contact the office at [email protected] to arrange an appointment.
