Sunday’s trails at Kirkstone proved something of a disappointment after the opening senior trail was declared void – under time.
In the next two trails all the runners didn’t get round, with just three of the six pups and only two of the 12 open non-winners.
The only successful trail was the concluding race when Eleanor’s Lass led in Intensity and Shiraz after 13 open maidens had been slipped.
Denise Bland’s puppy table leader Huntsman’s Rebel was only third in the junior trail behind kennel-mate Huntsman’s Rally and Rex the Rocket.
Malcolm and Ann Holmes’ Sweet Dreams beat Go Go Frankie in the open non-winners when ten others didn’t find their way round.

- Open Maiden – 1. Eleanor’s Lass; 2. Intensity; 3. Shiraz; 4. Amber Bay; 5. Howgill Meg; 6. Foxparke Shackalackaboomboom. 13 ran, time 16.48.
