Pete Wild is just about there now as he targets his first season as Barrow boss with two players in every position.
The arrival of left-back Myles Kenlock goes a long way to completing Wild’s full house on the eve of the second game with Bradford City.
South London-born Kenlock, 25, started his football career with Crystal Palace as a 17-year-old before graduating through Croydon charity Kinetic Foundation.
He signed a professional contract with Ipswich Town in 2015, and made a total of 85 appearances for the East Anglia side in seven years.
He spent time on loan in League Two last season with Colchester United, making 18 League appearances and netting three times. His eight-year association with Ipswich ended in May.
Wild said of Kenlock: “We want two for every position and felt we were a little short in the left back area.
“He’s a player of great quality that has played in the Championship and League One.
“To bring someone of Myles’ quality to the club shows what we are trying to do here at Barrow, and once we get him up to speed in the next couple weeks, he’ll be another player fighting for another position.”
He won’t be included in the squad for tomorrow’s home game with Bradford City.
