The biggest motoring event in Cumbria is back with a bang this summer, organisers have promised.
On August 21, Cumbria Classic & Motorsport Show takes place at Dalemain, near Penrith.
There are 860 cars entered this year with 465 individual entries and 30 clubs – equalling last year’s record figure.
Featured marques this year are Porsche and Austin 7, which celebrate their centenary this year.
There will be a special display of rally and competition cars and demonstration autotests, plus trade and autojumble stands, club displays, arena action and interviews.
Wigton Motor Club supports Blood Bikes and Hospice at Home West Cumbria. The show opens to the pubic at 11am and closes at 4.30pm.
Admission is £7.50 for adults and children’s admission is free. Programmes and parking are free.
