Two fire engines were called after reports of a kitchen blaze in Millom.
The crews were called out at about 1.20am today to Lord Street.
The fire involved the kitchen of a domestic property and one casualty was attended to by the North West Ambulance Service. Firefighters were detained for about 50 minutes.
