Fire crews were called to tackled a large hay blaze in South Lakeland yesterday.
Two fire engines attended the incident at Slack Head, off the C5098 at Hale at around 1.30pm. The fire involved a large quantity of hay, Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service said.
Crews were detained for about two hours and 20 minutes.
