I(n 2019 he moved to Grimsby where he made his Football League debut on the opening day of the 2020/21 season, going on to play six times for the first team.

Depending on Carlisle’s current injury situation Idehen could make his debut for the Blues in Saturday’s League Two trip to Stevenage.
Manager Paul Simpson told the club website: “I think I’ve made it obvious in everything I’ve said over the last week or so that we were looking to bring another defender in to strengthen the group
“Ideally we wanted a left-sided player and Duncan certainly fits that profile. I’m looking forward to getting him working with us and to getting him integrated into the group, and I’m sure he’s going to be another really good addition to our squad.
“He’s a good size, he loves defending and he has a bit of pace about him. He’s confident on the ball and I’m delighted that Bristol City have agreed to let him come to us.”
