Attempted murder charges for 15-year-old boys

Two 15-year-old boys are set to appear in court, charged with attempted murder.

The boys were arrested as part of an investigation into an incident on Carlisle Road, Brampton at around 4.25pm on  August 19.

The youngsters, from the local area, are set to appear at Carlisle Magistrates tomorrow, August 23.

A third youngster arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender has been released on police bail.

The collision involved a sky blue Audi and a pedestrian.

The 19-year-old male pedestrian has since been released from hospital.

Anyone with any information relating to the incident are asked to report it via www.cumbria.police.uk/report-it or call 101.

To report information anonymously, contact independent charity Crimestoppers, on 0800 555 111.

Include the incident refence, log 173 of the 19th August with any reports.
