
More than 400 people came together to create a unique spectacle in the Lake District.
A lava flow of lights was created on Scafell Pike as part of the national Unboxed festival and will be broadcast on BBC’s Countryfile later this year.
Unboxed – a celebration of the UK’s creativity – has been called the Festival of Brexit and events are taking place across the country.

Walkers and mountaineers carried specially designed lights to the top of the mountain to create the effect.
It was the finale of the Green Space Dark Skies events, which saw people climb to the summits of the UK’s four highest mountains.

There will be extra events at Ben Nevis and Slieve Donard, but the participants will not go to the summits.
