A former Britain’s Got Talent finalist from Carlisle has denied raping two women.
Andrew Johnston, 27, appeared at Southwark Crown Court yesterday, accused of attacking a woman in London in 2019 and is alleged to have raped her in March 2020.
He is also accused of raping another woman at a flat in London, between January and February 2020.

He denied three charges of rape and remains on bail, on condition that he does not contact either of women ahead of his trial in July.
Johnston wowed judges and the audience as a 13-year-old choirboy in the second series of Britain’s Got Talent in 2008. He came third in the final and released a top five album after the series.
