An argument between two dog owners resulted in an assault in an Eden park.
Police are appealing for witnesses following a report of an assault near the River Eden in Appleby.
The two women dog owners got into an argument last Thursday, which resulted in one punching the other in the face, causing bruising.
The suspect is described as white, with grey/blonde hair and was wearing a pink jacket and blue trousers. She had a dog called Olly.
Police appealing for witnesses if anyone has witnessed the incident or knows who the suspect in this case is.
