
A man in his 20s has died following a serious crash in Carlisle.
Police received a report of a road traffic collision on Denton Street this morning at 3.48am.
The collision involved an Audi car and the local man. Emergency services attended, but the man died at the scene.
A road closure remains in place whilst police continue with their enquiries.
Anyone who witnessed the crash or the moments leading up to it is urged to contact police.
Officers are keen to hear from two cyclists who were in the area shortly before the collision and may be able to assist, or from anyone who saw the cyclists.
